Ryan Schaap is the leader of Big Ocean Marine. His passion for boats goes back to childhood where he learned working on wood boats with his father. From that time forward, Ryan’s love for boats and craftsmanship led him to become a highly skilled craftsman with a strong passion for fine boats. Ultimately, Ryan graduated from Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, and worked for ten years as a craftsman and construction project manager prior to launching Big Ocean Marine.
